Three Surfaces, Three Different Fixes

Buyers check a crypto or casino brand in three places, and one method does not carry across them. Google ranks pages. Review platforms run published dispute procedures with published timings. AI assistants repeat whatever sources they retrieved.

Dimension
Header column first What Goes Wrong
Header column second How It Is Actually Fixed
Google's First Page for Your Brand Name
Complaint threads, a copycat's pages and two-year-old coverage sit above anything you own. Deletion is not the lever here: Google drops a page on a legal or policy ground, not because it is unflattering.
Outrank it, and file removals only where the page is a provable violation. On a crypto token project, negative results fell from 80% to 20% of the tracked first page in six months, across 20+ keywords in the US, Germany, Spain and Russia. On a cloned casino brand, complaints to Google and Bing cleared typosquat domains and cloaked pages in days, and two of our guest posts were in the top 10 for the clone's "scam" query by the end of week four. A complaint will not remove the clone's own website; that is lawyers' work, with the registrar and the host.
Trustpilot, AskGamblers, Casino Guru
The rating and the complaint thread belong to the platform, not to you, and both are public while the dispute runs. One withdrawal complaint nobody answered stays at the top of the profile for as long as nobody answers it.
Use the platforms' own procedures, which are published and free. AskGamblers responds to a new complaint within two working days, then each side gets up to 96 hours per round. Casino Guru's own reporting puts resolution at 15 to 21 days. Answering is what moves it: across two casino brands we brought public response time down from over eleven days to under 48 hours, and both profiles settled at 4.1 stars with the review flow left organic and unprompted — which is what Trustpilot's May 2025 guidelines require, since they prohibit any incentive attached to an invitation.
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overview
The model assembles its answer from whatever sources it retrieved, so a brand with a thin or hostile source set gets described by whatever was loudest. One crypto exchange came to us because Google's AI Overview was flagging it as risky. There is no console to log into and no ticket to raise.
Audit which sources the model cites for your own brand queries, then correct or add to that set. Tangem's product marketing manager describes that engagement in the testimonials on this page. Where the cited sources are community threads, the work happens there: on a crypto exchange we took Reddit presence from 67 mentions to 590 placements across 39 subreddits, 98% of comments surviving moderation and none of the brand mentions removed.

What Reputation Work Can Fix, and What It Cannot

First changes in 1–3 months; full results take six or more

What Moves, and How

  • Respond and resolve. A complaint answered inside the platform’s own procedure gets corrected or closed on the facts. Across two casino brands, cutting response time from over eleven days to under 48 hours changed the profile more than any new review did.
  • Invite reviews with nothing attached. Trustpilot’s May 2025 guidelines ban discounts, promo codes, prize-draw entries, refunds or any other benefit connected to leaving a review, and ban wording that invites only the happy customers. Both casino profiles reached 4.1 stars with the flow left organic.
  • Outrank what will not come down. On a crypto token project, negative results went from 80% to 20% of the tracked first page in six months across four markets. The pages did not disappear; they stopped being the first thing anyone reads.
  • Take down provable impersonation. A typosquat domain, a cloned interface, a swapped button or a cloaked redirect is a violation search engines act on, and those complaints close in days rather than months.
  • Change what an AI assistant has to read. The inputs are public: threads, reviews, coverage, your own pages. Adding to them is the only input you control, because the answer itself has no edit box.
Said before the contract, not after

What It Cannot Do

  • Delete a published article. The publisher takes its own page down or it stays up, and Google de-indexes on legal or policy grounds rather than on tone. Court records, regulator notices and genuine news coverage sit in this group.
  • Remove an accurate complaint. If a player was not paid, the review is true, and the route is resolving the payment, not contesting the review.
  • Promise a star rating by a date. A rating is an average of what real customers leave, and a guaranteed number would mean controlling who leaves one.
  • Produce a first page inside a fortnight. Indexing alone runs up to two weeks, compound queries move in three to four weeks, and a branded first page takes longer than a month.
  • Fix what people are complaining about. Withdrawal delays, silent support and a failing KYC flow are product problems. Reputation work buys time to fix them and loses that ground if they are not fixed.

Your Brand Query, and What It Returns Today

Wikipedia and Crunchbase: What the Work Involves

Two of the records a brand search returns are edited by people who do not work for you, under rules you do not set. This is the order the work runs in, and the point at which it stops if the sourcing is not there.

01
Notability Check, Before Anything Is Written
Wikipedia keeps an article only where independent, reliable sources have already covered the subject at length. We count that coverage first. If it is not there, an article created now gets deleted, and the honest sequence is coverage first and a page afterwards.
02
Source Inventory
Every claim that would go into either record is matched to a published source that is not the company’s own site, its press releases or a paid placement. What has no source does not go in — on Wikipedia because it will be removed, on Crunchbase because it is the sourcing that makes the profile worth anything.
03
Disclosed Editing
Wikipedia’s conflict-of-interest guideline requires anyone editing for pay to disclose who is paying, on whose behalf the edits are made and any other relevant affiliation — a Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use requirement, not a courtesy. Undisclosed paid editing gets accounts blocked and the article deleted. We disclose, and where a page already exists we use talk-page edit requests rather than editing it directly.
04
Crunchbase Profile and Citations
Funding rounds, leadership, locations and product lines, each carrying a citation. Crunchbase accepts company records Wikipedia would decline, and the profile itself usually ranks for the company name — which makes it worth building properly even where a Wikipedia article is years away.
05
Watching Both Records Afterwards
Both are editable by strangers. Changes get monitored, and a wrong edit is argued on sourcing through the record’s own process. Reverting it repeatedly is what gets a page locked.
