A brand slides into your DMs with a “sponsorship opportunity.” No rate, no deliverables, no timeline, just “let’s hop on a call.” You say yes because saying no feels like leaving money on the table, then spend two weeks negotiating scope with someone who may or may not pay on time.
That’s the default experience for most crypto and iGaming creators, and it’s the problem the ICODA Creator Program is built to remove. We’ve been doing this since 2017: 2,000+ vetted creators in the network, across Twitter/X, YouTube, Telegram, Kick and Instagram, and 650+ projects run across crypto trading, DeFi, NFTs and Web3 iGaming. This guide covers how the program works (deal types, terms, payout process) so you can decide if it fits before you apply.

What the Program Actually Does
You don’t pitch brands. You apply once, tell us your channel, audience and the content formats you want to run, and we bring you campaign briefs that already fit your niche, priced and reviewed before they reach you. If a brief doesn’t fit, you pass: nothing changes, no penalty.
Every brief lists the terms up front: platform, GEO, content format, deliverables, compensation, timeline and any campaign-specific requirements. You see the deal before you commit to anything.
The Four Deal Types
Campaigns on the program fall into one of four structures. Which one you get depends on the brand and the campaign, not on you negotiating from scratch each time.
- Flat-fee deals. A fixed payment for agreed deliverables. A typical fit: a DeFi creator doing a protocol walkthrough, fee and deliverables locked in before filming.
- Hybrid deals. A fixed fee plus a performance component on top. A typical fit: a crypto trading creator on a base fee plus a bonus tied to sign-ups their content generates.
- Affiliate / performance deals. Compensation tied to agreed metrics, tracking method and calculation defined in the campaign terms before you confirm. A typical fit: an NFT creator promoting a mint, paid per verified wallet that mints through their link.
- Long-term partnerships. Ongoing work with one brand across multiple campaigns. A typical fit: a Web3 iGaming streamer running sponsored sessions with the same operator over several months instead of a one-off placement.
For hybrid, affiliate and performance campaigns, the metric, attribution method and calculation are spelled out in the campaign terms, not left as “we’ll figure it out after.” Your actual deal type depends on the brand and campaign you’re matched to, not your niche alone.

Who Can Apply, and How Selection Works
The program covers:
- Content categories: crypto trading, DeFi, NFTs, Web3 iGaming
- Platforms: Twitter/X, YouTube, Telegram, Kick, Instagram
Individual campaigns can carry their own requirements on GEO, platform, audience or niche, and the roster is curated on purpose: quality over quantity, not “everyone gets in.”
Applying is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. Once you apply, we review it against each campaign’s requirements:
- Audience fit
- GEO
- Platform
- Content style
If you’re selected, you get a confirmation and next steps. If a specific campaign isn’t a match, that doesn’t affect your standing for future ones.
Before any work starts, you get the final terms in writing:
- Deliverables
- Compensation
- Deadlines
- Approval requirements
- Usage rights or exclusivity attached to that campaign
You confirm before you begin, not after you’ve already made the content.
Getting Paid
We set compensation per campaign and tell you before you accept. Payment goes out after you’ve delivered what was agreed and completed any required reporting or publication steps. The campaign terms spell out what triggers payout, so you’re never left guessing whether “done” means done.
Any additional usage rights (paid ad rights, whitelisting, licensing, exclusivity) are campaign-specific, and we disclose them before you confirm. You’re not finding out after the fact that a brand can run your content as a paid ad indefinitely.
If You Already Get Brand Deals Directly
You don’t have to route every deal through the program. If brands already come to you, you keep that relationship. We can support the commercial side of it instead: negotiation, campaign coordination, renewals. The point is to plug into what you’re already doing, not replace it.
ICODA vs. Going Solo
If you’re weighing this against pitching brands yourself, here’s what changes:

| With ICODA | Going solo | |
|---|---|---|
| Brand outreach | We pitch brands and bring you the deal | You pitch, or wait for a DM |
| Briefs | Reviewed and priced before they reach you | You read every pitch yourself, good or not |
| Compliance | Checked against platform and advertiser rules before you post | You guess, and you carry the risk |
| Partnerships | Repeat work with brands that already know your numbers | One-off deals, starting from zero each time |
| Inbound briefs | We answer them for you, so live slots don’t expire | Briefs sit in your inbox until you get to them |
| Web3 experience | Run by people who’ve worked in crypto marketing since 2017 | You explain your niche to every new brand |
Completing campaigns successfully can lead to future opportunities, though it doesn’t guarantee a specific number of campaigns, income or collaborations. No program, including this one, can honestly promise that.

It’s defined per campaign: the metric, how it’s attributed, and how it’s calculated are all set out in that campaign’s terms before you confirm, not left open-ended.
No. If you already have inbound deals, you keep them. We can support the commercial side (negotiation, coordination, renewals) without taking over the relationship.
You pass on it. There’s no penalty, and it doesn’t affect whether you get matched to future briefs.

After you’ve delivered the agreed content and completed any reporting or publication requirements the campaign specifies. The exact terms are confirmed before you start work, not after.
The program doesn’t publish a blanket minimum. Requirements are set per campaign based on GEO, platform, niche and audience fit, so what qualifies you for one brief may differ from another.
